WHY IT WORKS
The pad your dog actually chooses.
Most accidents aren't a training problem. They're a targeting problem. A plain pad gives your dog no reason to pick it over the rug — to them it's just more floor.
Dogs choose by scent. This pad carries a pheromone attractant that tells them exactly where to go, so the habit forms around the pad instead of around the hallway.
CONSTRUCTION
Four layers. Each one doing a job.
A quilted microfibre top your dog stands on. A thick absorbent core that pulls liquid down. A waterproof membrane that stops it reaching the floor. A rubber-dotted base that keeps the pad from sliding on hardwood. Drop any one and you get a pad that leaks, slides, or soaks through.
ABSORPTION
Soaks in. Doesn't pool.
Liquid is drawn down into the core instead of sitting on top, so paws stay drier and nothing runs off the edges onto your floor.
CARE
Wash it with the towels.
Cold wash, tumble dry low. That's the whole routine — no bagging soaked disposables, no remembering to re-order before you run out.
Built for every stage of a dog's life
Reusable vs. disposable
What you're actually paying for, pad for pad.
|   | Pet Common | Disposable pads |
|---|---|---|
| Attractant built in | ||
| Reusable — wash and put back | ||
| Doesn't shred when scratched | ||
| Non-slip base | ||
| Leak-proof membrane | ||
| No ongoing weekly cost |
One down. One in the wash. One ready.
A single pad fails the day it's in the laundry — and that's the day the accident happens. Three pads is the minimum that actually holds as a system. Most owners never go back to disposables once they have a rotation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my dog use it?
The pad carries an attractant scent that dogs pick up on. You won't notice it, but your dog will.
Put it where accidents usually happen and give it a few days. Plenty of dogs head straight for it. Some have a weaker nose and take up to a week to find it, which is normal.
If it doesn't work out for your dog, email us and we'll help you get it working or give you a full refund.
How do I wash it?
Put it in the washing machine on a cold cycle with your usual detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener. Tumble dry on low or hang it up to dry.
You can also rinse it with a garden hose and let it air-dry. Either way it's ready to go back down.
Does it smell?
No. Disposables smell because the pee sits out in the open on a wet surface.
This pad pulls liquid down into the absorbent core within seconds, so the top feels dry again quickly.
If you do notice a smell, it just means it's wash day. One cold cycle takes care of it.
What about poop?
Some dogs poop on it too, which is a bonus.
Pick it up with a bag or paper towel, then put the pad in the wash. The waterproof layer underneath stops anything reaching your floor.
Is it chew proof?
It's a lot tougher than a disposable, which tears the moment a dog gets a tooth in.
It's quilted fabric with bound, stitched edges, so it holds up to digging, dragging and scratching. No fabric is fully chew proof, so a determined chewer is covered by our 90-day guarantee.
How many do I need?
We recommend at least three: one on the floor, one in the wash and one ready to go. That way there's never a day without a clean pad down, which is when accidents happen.
Two dogs, a bigger home, or an older dog with bladder trouble is where six makes life easier: one in every room they use, and spares always clean.
Does the scent wash out?
No. The attractant is built into the pad, not sprayed on top, so a normal wash doesn't remove it. Wash on cold and skip fabric softener to keep it working at its best.
Can I get it on Amazon?
No. Pet Common pads are only sold here on our website.
You'll find similar-looking pads elsewhere, but ordering from us is the only way to get our 90-day guarantee, free tracked shipping and our support team.
What is the guarantee?
You have 90 days to try it. If your dog won't use it, or you're not happy for any reason, email us at support@petcommon.com and we'll refund you. No restocking fee, and you don't need to send the pads back.
Every order ships with tracking and usually arrives in 7 to 14 business days.
